In addition to faithful reproductions of the original six Mega Man games, Challenge Mode, and other features found in the previous digital release, new bonus content has been added to the Nintendo 3DS version for fans. Eleven exclusive new remix challenges can be unlocked using the original Mega Man amiibo or the brand-new gold-colored Mega Man amiibo included in the Collector’s Edition. New art and history pieces have also been added to the in-game Museum Mode, with highlights like original NES cart designs and classic game ads from the 80s and 90s.

Mega Man Legacy Collection is a celebration of the 8-bit history of Capcom’s iconic Blue Bomber. The new features included in the redesign include the following:

Screen Shot Album – Saving and organizing screen shots that people take in games are made easier with the new Screen Shot Album. The private album can only be viewed by the player and can hold up to 100 screen shots from a variety of games. The images can even be neatly sorted by game name for easy searching.

Play Journal – With the Play Journal, players can record their unique game experiences by writing journal entries about games as they play them. Creating a journal entry is as easy as opening Miiverse while playing a compatible game, and each entry will include a screen shot that shows exactly what was happening in the game when the player pressed the HOME button. The new Play Journal feature replaces the ability for users to post directly to their own activity feeds.

New Look – In the main community for each Wii U and Nintendo 3DS game, posts will be categorized in three easy-to-browse sections:
o Play Journal Entries – All Play Journal entries from players about a specific game will be located here. By viewing the displayed screen shots, players can quickly find other players who are in the same section of the game, making it easy to find relevant tips, comments and experiences.
o Drawings – Miiverse is full of incredible drawings from fans. This community section will display artwork other players have created about the game, in order of popularity.
o Discussions – If players want to ask questions or start conversations about a game, this is the perfect place to do it. The inclusion of tags in these discussions makes it easier for players to find what they are looking for.

Miiverse can be accessed on the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS systems, as well as via Web browsers.

As the clock counts down and the moon ominously hovering above gets closer and closer, Link will become intimately familiar with the world around him and the lives of the doomed denizens of Termina. Characters in the game have their own lives – lives that will end in three days once the moon comes crashing down. As Link meets these fascinating characters, he can help them in various ways. He might reunite loves torn apart by evil, or teach troubled twin dancers a new routine for the Carnival of Time. He may even assist a little ranch girl by preventing alien invaders from stealing cows! Many quests in the game can only be completed at a specific in-game time, so players must be diligent in tracking what needs to be done, who needs to be helped and what time it all needs to be accomplished.

Luckily, all of this pre-apocalyptic activity can be tracked in one of the game’s most important items: The Bombers’ Notebook. In The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, this vital item has been improved to work with the touch screen. In addition to an overhauled design focusing on ease of use, players can now set alarms that will remind them of an event, as well as organize tasks to see what Link has already completed and what he still has to do.

To help him complete his quests, Link will discover and equip more than 20 unique masks throughout the game. Some of these masks can be worn to improve Link’s abilities, like the Bunny Hood that allows him to run faster or the Great Fairy’s Mask that attracts stray Fairies hidden around Termina. Some masks get characters to divulge new information, while others, like the Deku, Goron and Zora masks, transform Link into an entirely new creature!
