The frontline has collapsed and your home has fallen. Now it’s time to reclaim what’s yours. Ours. Human beings escaped from the earth after the Great Catastrophe. Now, you will travel back to the world before its collapse and confront the bugs that ended everything. Win, and save the world. Fail, and you will have to come back in another timeline. 

Choose between three warriors and 10+ weapons to become the ultimate mecha in a bullet heaven auto shooter. Time Treker is set in a dark, sci-fi world where humans have built machines capable of downing dozens of enemies in a matter of seconds. Select a unique playstyle (sword dancer, rocket sniper, or thunder master) and choose between 10+ weapons and 15+ items to craft a killing machine that perfectly fits you. The Time Treker features a variety of missions, from exploration to annihilation, or defending a position, that will help you gain experience, unlock achievements and strengthen your base as you prepare for unknown challenges.

Max Beyond utilises the latest ground-breaking Realtime animation technology called Unreal Engine (the same engine tech used to power video games like Fortnite). Using this approach has also enabled HaZimation to take a Transmedia view to expand the story and universe of Max Beyond into a video game (Consoles + PC).

The spin off video game of Max Beyond, is in active development with a release date of mid 2025. The game was signed on the ID@ Xbox program back in 2023.

This movie should be viewed by gamers as an introduction to the backstory / characters to the currently in production game Max Beyond.

The Max Beyond game immerses the players into the same world, action and obstacles as seen in the movie, but taking a fresh approach of this being a co-op based game, where both characters have to help each other to restore reality and escape the facility known as Axion, with the engaging game mechanics and alternative timelines.

Gamers will recognise the voices of two of the lead characters in the movie. One of them being Jane Perry who is a BAFTA award winning actress who voices on high profile games such as Cyberpunk, Returnal and Hitman.

HaZimation is excited to share that their animated action-thriller Max Beyond will be available on UK Digital Platforms from 22nd April & in the US from 23rd April

Max Beyond tells the story of Max, a young boy held captive in a research facility. Using his ability to create rifts in the fabric of spacetime across parallel universes, he searches for the reality in which his brother Leon, a former-marine, manages to rescue him. With attempt after attempt ending in Leon’s death, the strain starts to take its toll on both brothers. When Max discovers his captors are using his power against him, he realizes he must stop focusing on how the story ends and rewrite the story from the beginning.

The cast includes BAFTA-award winning actor Jane Perry (Cyberpunk 2077, Hitman, Returnal), Dave Fennoy (The Walking Dead) and Cade Tropeano (Black Bird). Motion capture performances from Ace Ruele (Eternals) and Alex Kong (Marvel Studio’s What If?).

Max Beyond is directed, co-written and co-produced by Hasraf ‘HaZ’ Dulull (Disney’s Fast Layne, indie sci-fi features – The Beyond & 2036 Origin Unknown), co-written by Stavros Pamballis (Siege On Liperti Street) and co-produced by Paula Crickard (Jolt, The Protege).

Commenting on the film, writer director HaZ said “What if you had the ability to reset dimensions to find the right moment that will save your brother, but the more you do it, the weaker you get? Strap in for Max Beyond, a tour de force rollercoaster ride of big & intense action, with edge of the seat thrills and emotionally charged characters as the story pulls the audiences into the mind-bending multi-universe.”

The film’s executive producers are Yariv Lerner (Rambo – Last Blood, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard), Amy Gardner (Identicals) and Jason Potter. The music score is by Miroshot, a band known for their experiential music featured in SXSW 2022.

Max Beyond will be available on Digital Download in the UK from 22nd April and US from 23rd April!
