Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth mainline entry in the iconic survival horror Resident Evil series, revealed all-new gameplay with high-flying action and terrifying survival horror. Additional details on new characters like Emily, Victor Gideon, and Nathan Dempsey, plus a look at even more of the enemy terrors you’ll face were also unveiled ahead of the game’s release on February 27, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and GeForce NOW.
 
Resident Evil Requiem centers around two main protagonists as you experience spine-tingling survival horror with FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and exhilarating, death-defying action with legendary agent Leon S. Kennedy, with the ability to swap between first-person perspective for deeper immersion, and third-person perspective for more dynamic action whenever you’d like. Throughout the game, you’ll also meet a multitude of supporting characters, including:

PRAGMATA Ventures into a Twisted Lunar Cityscape with Strange New Foes
 
Today’s PRAGMATA trailer explores deeper into a distorted cityscape found within the sci-fi action-adventure game’s lunar research station. The broadcast also revealed strange and formidable new foes that will challenge players when PRAGMATA makes its highly anticipated arrival on April 24, 2026 across PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
 
The footage ventures into an area of the lunar station that recreates a landscape resembling New York City’s Times Square with the dream material Lunafilament and 3D printing technology. There, we see Hugh and Diana interacting and learning from one another on their journey through the facility, as they seek an escape from the hostile AI and relentless Bots that pursue them.
 
Following its release on consoles late last week, the PRAGMATA Sketchbook demo has surpassed more than 1 million downloads. This free demo is available now via PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, Xbox Store, an Steam for PC. GameChat Enables New Ways to Play Socially, All Together

With the new online feature GameChat**, people can play games and talk like everyone is in the same room, even if they are miles apart. Whether sharing a victory or just waving hello, GameChat makes it feel like online friends around the world are on the same couch. Once GameChat is up, players can start a chat with friends anytime by pressing the C Button on the right Joy-Con 2 controller. The system’s built-in mic can be used to voice chat while playing games with up to 12 people in different locations. Up to four friends can share their screen, and if they connect a compatible USB-C camera, such as the Nintendo Switch 2 camera (sold separately), they can also video chat, seeing each other’s faces as they cheer, shout, or laugh while playing. Additional friends can join the chat via audio only. Until the end of March 2026, GameChat can be used without the need to have a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Afterwards, a Nintendo Switch Online membership will be required.

When initiating a GameChat session, the user invites people from their friend list. Safety features are in place to help players have a safe and secure chat experience, such as the ability to report a person while in a chat session. In addition, Nintendo recognizes the important role parents and guardians play in their children’s online experiences, so children under the age of sixteen will need their parent or guardian to approve their use of GameChat with an updated version of the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls App.

Joy-Con 2 controllers attach to the system with a “snap”

It is also possible to connect a compatible USB-C camera, like the Nintendo Switch 2 camera accessory to enjoy video chat on GameChat.

Powerful processing speed and graphical performance

Nintendo Switch 2 has significantly improved CPU and GPU performance over Nintendo Switch, resulting in faster processing speed and enabling new visually advanced gameplay. It also makes it possible to achieve more detailed graphics and faster loading times.

Crisp audio quality and spatial 3D sound

On Nintendo Switch 2, the sound quality is more natural and clearer with an even more balanced sound range. When playing in handheld mode or tabletop mode, players will be able to experience games with even more immersive, three-dimensional sound.

Internal storage of 256 GB

The internal storage of Nintendo Switch 2, where digital games and save data are stored, is 256 GB, which is 8 times the storage capacity of Nintendo Switch. Multiple people can play one title with GameShare

With GameShare, a new Nintendo Switch 2 feature, players can share and play the same game with others who do not have the game. If one person has a Nintendo Switch 2 system and a game compatible with GameShare, that person can invite others to temporarily play the same game together via local play with their Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch system. Between Nintendo Switch 2 systems, GameShare can also be used along with GameChat for online play, so that players can chat with others while all of them play the same game.

Virtual game cards add benefits to digital games

With virtual game cards, players can easily manage all their purchased digital games, play games on two different systems, or even lend or borrow games. The virtual game card menu shows all of the digital games purchased with a user’s Nintendo Account, making it easy to access the games and load them on the system. Once a virtual game card is loaded onto a system, it can be played even if the system is not connected to the internet, and other users who are on that system can also play the game. Additionally, digital games can be lent and borrowed among members of the same Nintendo Account family group in the form of virtual game cards via local wireless communication.

Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo Switch Online** will be available on Nintendo Switch 2. On Nintendo Switch 2, players with a Nintendo Switch Online membership will be able to use features like GameChat along with existing online features. For a limited time, all Nintendo Switch 2 owners can access GameChat without a Nintendo Switch Online membership through the GameChat Open-Access period, which lasts until the end of March 2026. After that time, a Nintendo Switch Online membership will be required to use GameChat. In addition, for Nintendo Switch 2 owners, Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics will be released right at the system’s launch. Players with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership and a Nintendo Switch 2 system will be able to access a growing collection of Nintendo GameCube games with clearer image quality and higher resolution than the original releases. The classic game lineup available at release will be F-Zero GX, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and SOULCALIBUR II. Along with the classic games, a dedicated wireless controller designed after the original GameCube controller will be available for purchase*** by paid Nintendo Switch Online members.

In addition to existing accessibility features on Nintendo Switch, to support players’ wide range of gameplay styles, Nintendo Switch 2 offers a variety of new accessibility options including the ability to adjust font size, enable screen reader, and speech-to-text features within GameChat.

With the Nintendo Switch Parental Control app, parents can easily support their children’s gameplay by using their smart device to check what kind of games their children play or set limits on how long the system can be used daily. The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City’s Fall is the title of their upcoming visual novel that aims to be published in the fourth quarter of 2025. Following the grim line of The Hungry Lamb, this game is set on the Yangzhou massacre in 1645 and draws inspiration from the narration that Wang Xiuchu made of the events on A Record of Ten Days in Yangzhou and some elements from Journey to the West.
The sequel is set in the days of the Late Ming Dynasty and takes place some years after The Hungry Lamb. The main story and their protagonists are different, but we can expect Sui’s and Lang’s appearances.

The art direction from The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City’s Fall is a carefully made process. The characters’ design mixes animalistic and fantasy features from Journey to the West with historical accuracy and details from the late Ming Dynasty period.

ABOUT THE GAME

The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City’s Fall is a visual novel offering a bittersweet experience. Players will dive into the gruesome events of the city’s massacre and the story of a young scholar who loses his mind to overcome the circumstances. However, amidst all the bloodshed, a love story between the scholar and a courtesan will spark.

One day, after passing out due to alcohol, he starts experiencing reality as if he were the protagonist of the Kingdom of Shituo, the book based on Journey to The West he was writing.

When the Yangzhou massacre begins, Fang will find himself living in a fantasy world and incapable of discerning reality from delusions. In the Kingdom of Shituo, the king of the Golden-Winged Great Peng is leading a hundred thousand demons to slaughter the citizens. Between all the chaos and bloodbath, Fang will meet Xiao Yan’er, a courtesan he will swear to protect. As days pass, Fang will gradually recover his memory and, depending on the player’s choices, he will either become more lucid or worsen his maddening state of mind.

Created by French developer Victor Pouderoux, Lilac 0 has a distinct, retro arcade feel that combines refined mechanics, challenging gameplay, stunning pixel art, and an industrial chiptune soundtrack. Unusually for a shmup, the game features a ‘dash’ move which, in addition to making the player momentarily invulnerable, is the only way to defeat certain enemies. Dash is also used to execute an ‘overkill’: a special, score-boosting attack that slices its target into pieces. 

With a background in computer science and various game jam projects under his belt, Victor Pouderoux initially began work on Lilac 0 as a purely hobbyist endeavour. However, over time, and driven by his passion for shmups, it grew in scope and ambition.

The Carnival is one of Ragunna’s most significant festivals where masquerades never end and music never sleeps. However, the festival was suspended for many years.Until this year, the people of Ragunna have revived the tradition!

In this version’s story, multiple factions in Rinascita will take the stage. Among them are the Order of the Deep, the Fool’s Troupe, Fisalia, and the Montelli family. It feels like shadowy forces are stirring beneath the surface with tension brewing between these groups.

Ragunna: One of Rinascita’s many city-states, and a thriving port city by the sea, with winding waterways linking its districts together. In addition to their faith, the people of Ragunna are also known for their love of the arts. Magnificent sculptures and paintings grace the city at every turn, and impromptu performances often bring the streets to life.

Whisperwind Haven: Welcome to Whisperwind Haven, known for its iconic windmills and flower fields. Legend has it, this was once the home of the Blessed Maiden.

Hallowed Rach: Forbidden to the public by the Order of the Deep, Hallowed Rach is filled with numerous Tacet-Discords. Everywhere, one finds the ruins of bygone architecture, and on the crumbling structures and stone tablets are recorded legends about the Sentinel, as well as the tale of how the first Primus established the Order.

Penitnet’s End: A forsaken island, shrouded in dense sea mist, is dominated by steep cliffs with giant ringed structures. Ships caught in the currents often end up stranded on the island’s treacherous shores. For those lucky enough to survive the wreck, even greater horrors await…

Fagaceae Peninsula: A peninsula thick with oak trees where once upon a time Rinascita’s rulers gathered for secret councils. The Oracles carvings in the stone and trees have withstood the passage of time, though their messages are now nearly impossible to distinguish.

Thessaleo Fells: The rugged mountains of Thessaleo Fells always seem shrouded in the darkness of night, their gloom as deep as the abyssal sea. Once the domain of the Fisalia family, the oldest lineage in Ragunna, this desolate place remains one few outsiders dare to tread.

Averardo Vault: Built by the Montelli family, Averardo Vault stands like a heavily guarded fortress on the outskirts of the city. Within its walls lies the family’s vast collection of treasures, including precious metals, artworks, and rare Echoes. The vault also provides public services such as secure storage for valuables, appraisals, and acquisition of rare collections. 

Nimbus Sanctum: The sea of clouds lingering in this place is formed by concentrated Remnant Energy. Local legends of Ragunna speak of a serene, mirror-like area at the heart of Nimbus Sanctum, said to purify the darkest of thoughts and transform them into clouds. At times, a haunting melody can be heard echoing from the depths of the sanctum.

CHARACTERS
Carlotta: Carlotta, the second daughter of the Montelli family. She is an art investor who embodies innate nobility. Yet, behind the scenes she alternates between dual roles, addressing delicate troubles for her family. She is the first 5-Star Resonator wielding pistols.

Carlotta is a Glacio 5-Star Resonator who wields dual pistols. When designing this character we’ve built a general image based on her personality and the core element—gems. As the second daughter of the esteemed Montelli family Carlotta is matched by a sense of elegance. As you can see we infused her combat style with graceful, dance-like movements.

Carlotta’s Resonance Ability is connected to gems as she could conjure pistols and bullets by channeling her Resonance Ability unleashing a barrage of crystallized energy and Glacio damage. At the same time her combat effects feature crystal visuals that shimmer like shattered gems with dazzling lusters. And when she unleashes her Resonance Liberation a mirror appears reflecting her presence. This ties deeply into her backstory.

Meanwhile the new weapon featured in the upcoming version—Pistols “The Last Dance” shares the same gem-and-crystal-inspired design. We’ve worked to align this weapon with Carlotta’s aesthetic and combat style creating a perfect synergy.

Roccia: In version 2.0, Roccia from the Fool’s Troupe takes center stage in the main story. Her role in the Fool’s Troupe is an improvisational comedian, blending high-level performance with combat. She could summon small tornados when unleashing her Resonance Skill that pull enemies from all directions creating opportunities for her allies during battle. This effect could also be carried over to the next Resonator, even if you switch characters in its duration.
 
Roccia also has an intriguing stage partner: Chest Mimic—Pero. Their partnership is captivating. When dealing with enemies, their dynamic feels like a performance full of flair and excitement. Pero is such an innovative design! But Roccia’s weapons seem to be worn on both hands. Though Roccia could use gauntlets during battle, the heavy-hitting punches are more of Pero’s specialty.
 
Speaking of gauntlets, the new weapon “Tragicomedy” will also debut in this version. These gauntlets feature an asymmetrical design resembling a theatrical mask complementing Rock’s identity as a performer.

Deadeye, the 29th class to join Black Desert, brings an American Wild West-inspired aesthetic. Armed with revolvers, a shotgun, and a rocket launcher called Lil’ Devil, Deadeye combines fast-paced gunplay with a gripping backstory. Originating from New Victoria in the parallel Earth, she crosses into the Black Desert universe through the experiments of Earth’s Marni. Deadeye expands the lore while adding a fresh gameplay dynamic. Early access begins on December 20 through Global Lab, with the official release set for December 24.

Enhanced Support for New Adventurers
Pearl Abyss announced significant updates to Black Desert Online’s Season Server, a gateway for new players:

• Boosted Progression: Enjoy a 1000% combat EXP boost to fast-track progression in Season Servers

Yellow and Blue serve as the charming storytellers in One More Question. They guide the players through a series of unsolved stories, responding to questions with only ‘yes’, or ‘no’. To decipher the puzzles and uncover the truth of each story, players must carefully analyze every word and identify key terms that unlock the story’s full details. The puzzles are designed to be solvable once a certain amount of information is gathered. However, if players are unsure, they can always ask one more question.

A situation puzzle is a game where a storyteller, or host, narrates a short, seemingly illogical story. The ending is often known, but crucial information is missing. Why did it happen? What were the motivations of the characters? To solve these puzzles, players can only ask questions answered with ‘yes’, ‘no’, or ‘irrelevant’.

Situation puzzles are played by two people, but One More Question transforms them into a single-player experience.

The game will include 64 situation puzzles and 2 extra chapters adapting to different genres, from humorous and cosy to dark and supernatural.

Game Night will feature three minigames as it enters Early Access: Fishing, in which players must compete to scoop the most fish into the basket, Bouncing, in which players bat their balloon rabbits into carrots for points, and Slapping, in which the alien jelly menace must be contained. Supporting 1-4 players, each person can decide to work together or competitively for an experience that is as unique as the group they’re playing with. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom game for the Nintendo Switch family of systems launching Sept. 26 stars Zelda herself as she attempts to uncover a mystery that threatens to take over the entire Kingdom of Hyrule. This adventure sends her from one end of the kingdom to another, from the arid desert of the Gerudo tribe to the dense forest homes of the Deku Scrubs.

As rifts threaten to consume the kingdom, even Zelda’s formidable wisdom may not be enough to solve the mystery on its own. With the help of the ethereal creature Tri and the powerful Tri Rod, Zelda gains the power to create echoes – imitations of objects found in the environment. By echoing things from wooden boxes to old beds, Zelda will be able to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles. She can also create echoes to use in her defense when faced with dangerous enemies – and then echo the enemies themselves to fight by her side in later confrontations!

Zelda’s journey will call upon her to traverse the expanse of her kingdom (using waypoints and horseback to travel quickly). Along the way, she will collect accessories and outfits to aid in her mission (such as the ability to increase her swim speed), and the chance to gather ingredients and blend them into smoothies that give you different effects based on their ingredients – such as replenishing health!

Zelda’s wisdom and player creativity are put to the test in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. With Tri’s help, Zelda will utilize new powers to “Bind” and “Reverse Bond” objects – making objects follow Zelda’s movements or allowing Zelda to follow a creature’s movements, respectively – you can uncover hidden paths or find multiple ways to overcome obstacles or solve puzzles. Make a boulder “follow” you to open a hidden area or bind yourself to a flying creature and temporarily take to the skies. It’s up to you!

Mysterious rifts are overtaking Hyrule. What other challenges will Zelda face in this grand adventure to save her kingdom?

This could be your life. In Fragment: A Story in Growing, players will take control of a young widowed father hustling in the workplace. The main character faces the challenges of his unequal workplace environment, with meagre salaries and the escalating expenses of a growing daughter. Choose carefully as every decision will have an impact on several aspects, such as the mental well-being of your family or your financial status.

In this text-based narrative-driven game, players make choices by grouping different words to keep a balance between health, money, and food. Failing to keep that balance will have catastrophic consequences. Besides the main story, the game will also show random events grouped into four themes (work, socializing, parenting, and private time). Whether players accept or decline to take part in them will have an impact on their everyday routines. As the story progresses, players can check their past in a photo album, flipping old memories from their younger selves.
