In-Depth Look at Farming Simulator 25

For the first time, the fans got a comprehensive impression of the upcoming game when several high-ranking developers took the stage. After Stefan Geiger (CTO) laid the foundation with a detailed look at the new GIANTS Engine 10, Senior Level Designer Florian Busse captivated the audience with an emotional look at the new US map Riverbend Springs. The dynamic duo Manuel Leithner (Lead Gameplay Programmer) and Stefan Maurus (Gameplay Programmer & Lead Integrator) presented machines and gameplay.

Tractor Driving, Factory Tours, Free Fendt Pack & More

Visitors also had the chance to get behind the wheel of Fendt’s iconic tractors like the Fendt 942 Vario to experience over 400 units of horsepower and take part in special factory tours. GIANTS Software also invited fans to ask questions in Q&A sessions, meet international content creators from around the world, and watch Team HELM win the Farming Simulator League crown for season five. In addition, the developers released the FarmCon 24 – Fendt Pack for Farming Simulator 22 for free for everyone to download.

Reflecting on the event, GIANTS Software CEO Christian Amman commented: “Our ever-growing community continues to amaze us with their unwavering enthusiasm. More logistics, rising profits and increased sustainability: GIANTS Software publishes the Farm Production Pack for Farming Simulator 22 for PC and consoles, adding more place-ables, machines and gameplay mechanics around supply and demand. The launch trailer introduces many of the more than twenty new items, which enhances business opportunities for virtual farmers in the genre-leading simulation game.

New pack for New Business

Virtual farmers benefit from new selling points with dynamic prices and daily demand: vending machines in different sizes enhance their own farm, market stalls demand fresh produce and a supermarket requires processed foods.

One step further, building an agricultural empire is the 4,000-square-meter distribution center, equipped with heavy-loading shelves. Quick forklift unloading guarantees rewards, while customizable sheds and silos offer even more storage space for bulk products, vehicles, and tools.

Washing Crops & Solar Panels

New stationary equipment achieves higher selling prices: The washing drum for various crops, VDW’s Cleaner Tiger, which cleans and cuts sugar beets, as well as a remote-controlled cleaning robot for solar panels. Sustainability is also supported by an additional wind turbine and the Lely Sphere, a circular manure-handling system.
The Farm Production Pack is developed by Design, Modeling & Innovation (DMI) and published by GIANTS Software. It’s now available for Farming Simulator 22 on PC, Mac, PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

New Packs Planned for August & September
With the Vermeer Pack, virtual farmers look forward to the digitalization of the world’s first self-propelled baler, the ZR-5. Overall, five efficient and unique machines from the North-American manufacturer Vermeer are included. Releasing on August 23rd, it’s already available for pre-order. A Vermeer Pack teaser offers a first glimpse at the machines.

 
Presented and published by GIANTS Software, the Pumps N’ Hoses Pack releases on September 27th. Developed by the third-party studio Creative Mesh, Pumps N’ Hoses offers umbilical systems (using pumps and hoses to spread fertilizer more efficiently and soil-friendly), manure separation and configurable biogas plants. Over 30 new items are included.
 
First Look at November’s Platinum Expansion Map
The Platinum Expansion & Platinum Edition add more than 40 new machines by Volvo Group and others to Farming Simulator 22, as well as a new map: Silverrun Forest. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest of the United States, the map was presented for the first time with a map teaser video. With a lush landscape dominated by vast areas of forest, players enjoy harvesting and planting new types of trees while taking on new missions and providing logs to develop various points of interest.

More Presentations and Details on Saturday
While fans of Farming Simulator meet at the John Deere Forum in Mannheim, Germany on the weekend, GIANTS Software will stream the stage program scheduled on Saturday on the company’s official Twitch channel starting at 10 am CEST. Fans and gamers will learn more about the making of Farming Simulator and the upcoming content. GIANTS Software even offers something exciting for fans to enjoy immediately in celebration of FarmCon: The John Deere tractors 5M Series and 710 (this historical tractor was launched 1965 by John Deere-Lanz in Mannheim) are now available for download on the official ModHub.
