AstroBeam, the groundbreaking game studio building the future of voice interaction, today announced that its debut title, Stellar Cafe, will launch on December 11, 2025 for Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3 and 3S for $14.99. Stellar Cafe is the first VR game built around authentic, unscripted conversations using large language models to interpret your voice and generate real-time responses from human-crafted NPCs. Wishlists are open now on the Meta Quest store.

Created by Devin Reimer, founder of AstroBeam and co-creator of viral hit Job Simulator, Stellar Cafe invites you into an intergalactic cafe, where you’ll meet plenty of quirky robot characters. Using only your voice and hands, chat with the cafe’s patrons and help solve their problems, like writing a resignation email, becoming the first human guest on a robot podcast, and other wacky scenarios.

The cafe’s quirky clientele uses AstroBeam’s uniquely implemented large language model (LLM) to understand context. Each character processes what you say in real time and can carry conversations that are unique to your responses. Stellar Cafe is fully powered by voice input and features Owlchemy Labs’ signature hand-tracking technology, enabling you to focus on talking to the robots and allowing you to navigate the world without menus or controllers.

“Stellar Cafe is just the beginning for voice-first VR and video games,” said Devin Reimer, CEO and founder of AstroBeam. “For the first time in VR, players can talk and gesture freely to see what emerges when characters truly listen and respond. We see it as the ultimate tool for player expression through voice and hope to push the boundaries of VR and video games beyond responsive NPCs.”

Here’s what you can expect in Stellar Cafe:

Voice-First Gameplay: Speak to the robots and they speak back. No dialogue trees, just direct understanding and interaction, all in real-time. Be creative and expressive, conversations are fully dynamic and driven by your voice!

Hand Tracking: Use your hands. If you want to grab it, do it! Reach, grab, sip, point and toss objects in your environment just like real life. From adding creamer to your coffee to flinging a bottle of hot sauce at a robot, let both your hands and your voice do the talking.

Colorful Cast of Characters: Every robot has a unique personality, goals, and quirks. Make a friend (or foe), and uncover their stories.

Escalation Studios, Four Quarters and BulkyPix are proud to announce that Please, Don’t Touch Anything is now available on the Oculus Store for the Rift and Gear VR. Featuring 30+ wicked puzzles concealed in an unsettling room and about as many nods to popular works like The Stanley Parable, Futurama or Back to the Future, Please, Don’t Touch Anything offers one of the most surprising VR experience to date.

Watch the launch trailer:

Initially released on PC on March 2015, then later on mobiles, Please, Don’t Touch Anything captivated players with its pixel art and unusual approach of the puzzle genre. Today, the game is back with a remake developed especially for the Oculus Rift and Gear VR.
If the game’s provocative setup didn’t change one bit, it is a whole new game that has been developed from scratch by American developer Escalation Studios. Players once again have to cover for a colleague and find themselves in front of an empty, mysterious console. Only this time, they have a full room to inspect in order to find clues or tools (screwdriver, hammer, blacklight lamp, etc.) and uncover the mind-blowing secrets of Please, Don’t Touch Anything. Comparatively, the original 2D version was entirely taking place on a single screen.

A lot of thought has been put into finding exciting ways to exploit the possibilities offered by virtual reality. If newcomers will discover Please, Don’t Touch Anything for the first time, fans of the original version have not been left out. As a matter of fact, pleasing them with new content was fundamental throughout the whole development of the Oculus version.

Hence, five new puzzles have been created exclusively for the Oculus version. A majority of the already existing ones have also been overhauled, either offering new ways to be solved or new endings tailored for VR (or both). In the end, a total of 31 enigmas will have to be solved by those willing to uncover every mystery concealed in this weird console.
