Initially released on PC on March 2015, then later on mobiles, Please, Don’t Touch Anything captivated players with its pixel art and unusual approach of the puzzle genre. Today, the game is back with a remake developed especially for the Oculus Rift and Gear VR.
If the game’s provocative setup didn’t change one bit, it is a whole new game that has been developed from scratch by American developer Escalation Studios. Players once again have to cover for a colleague and find themselves in front of an empty, mysterious console. Only this time, they have a full room to inspect in order to find clues or tools (screwdriver, hammer, blacklight lamp, etc.) and uncover the mind-blowing secrets of Please, Don’t Touch Anything. Comparatively, the original 2D version was entirely taking place on a single screen.

A lot of thought has been put into finding exciting ways to exploit the possibilities offered by virtual reality. If newcomers will discover Please, Don’t Touch Anything for the first time, fans of the original version have not been left out. As a matter of fact, pleasing them with new content was fundamental throughout the whole development of the Oculus version.

Hence, five new puzzles have been created exclusively for the Oculus version. A majority of the already existing ones have also been overhauled, either offering new ways to be solved or new endings tailored for VR (or both). In the end, a total of 31 enigmas will have to be solved by those willing to uncover every mystery concealed in this weird console.
