Inspired by classical RPGs such as Betrayal at Krondor and King’s Bounty, the world of Dungeons of Aledorn is stricken by war, and the once defeated Orc tribes have again gathered their strengths and gained new allies to help them re-conquer their lost lands. It’s a harsh time when deserters and cowards plunder and prey upon the weak and kill on the whim; a world that’s in desperate need of a band of heroes to rally and save the day.

Players use their wits in exploration mode to engage enemies at suitable locations and use the scenery to your advantage to increase your chances of success; whilst managing characters´ actions, even during travelling and camping in order to craft, repair or find useful items or just to protect yourself against enemy ambushes.

A particular case, is with SID music, that coming from the legendary Commodore 64 computer.

Many of the original composers of great C64 tunes like the ones found on games like The Last Ninja 1 and 2, Batman The Caped Crusader or Gianna Sisters, are still active today, with many projects going on.

One of such projects is this great live concert, called “Back in Time Brighton ’15 – Live stage show of C64 Music“.

Many of us loved those C64 tunes, so hearing them live in a concert is a dream come true.

And well, this is the chance to back up a great idea, this live concert will take place in Europe, but there are many extras you can enjoy, even if you can’t travel there.

The event will take place on:

• Date: Saturday 20th June 2015, Doors open at 5pm.
• Venue: St George’s Church, Kemptown, Brighton.

One tier includes a t-shirt of the event, and full video of it, direct from the feed of the professional cameras on site, not recorded with a mobile phone from the audience. And also, Chris Abbot, C64 music legend and owner of the C64Audio.com shop, will give you a random digital album with your pledge, even if the kickstarter is not funded.

In Red Goddess, you play as a troubled deity named Divine, who feels confused and haunted by her past. Something mysterious and unknown is tearing her apart from the inside out, destroying her mind, her soul and Divine herself! The journey begins when Divine decides to right this wrong by exploring her own subconscious, where she will discover a planet within her own mind made up of mountains, forests, caves and perils unknown.

Discovering who she is, who she was and what she will become is the quest but soon realized is that there’s more to this adventure than meets the eye.

“We’re super excited by Red Goddess, we’re going to combine puzzler with combat and platformer, in a Metroidvania style to give the player real variation. Using Unreal 4, we’re able to offer incredible visuals and complex environments whilst being able to bring the game to PC, PS4, PS Vita and Wii U,” says Yannick Puig, Creative Director of Yanim Studio. “We’re going to introduce some stretch goals: for example additional localisation into Spanish, French and German, additional chapters and scenarios, and of course, many more power. We’d also really like to produce a Red Goddess comic.”.

Gameplay:

• Shoot, punch or turn invisible with 3 playable characters that each have their own unique skills and abilities which bring about different gameplay strategies. Brawling action meet puzzle platform, in combats are turned into puzzles.
• Enter the mind of enemies: Stun your enemies and enter their minds. Taking over their minds is like walking through a door. You will then gain access to new secret chambers.
• Unlock Powers. You will have to find and collect memory crystals to unlock new skills and enter new zones.
• Explore a mysterious planet dominated by the subconscious mind of the main character. The planet is a character itself, that the player will have to interact with and eventually defeat.
