This past weekend Kuro Games hosted a large-scale game-themed exhibition celebrating their two major IP’s Wuthering Waves and Punishing: Gray Raven. Kurofest was held August 9-10 at the Canton Fair Complex. The weekend was full of celebration with Wuthering Waves and Punishing: Gray Raven themed installations, major announcements, live music performances, official and fan-created art and merchandise! Kurofest had two main locations, the Game Pavilion and the Stage Pavilion where Kuro Games players were treated to an immersive and interactive experience.
The Wuthering Waves exhibition area re-created core regions of the game like Jinzhou, Black Shores, Laguna, and Septimont. The area had many in-game landmarks and themes integrated throughout, including Beacons, Mt. Firmament, and the Mortari Vault. Fans were treated to immersive experiences that showcased the game’s charm through interactive content and exhibitions including Boss-themed gameplay, a “Tubpup” ride, displays of Wuthering Waves art, merchandise and more.
Kurofest joins a long list of in person events Kuro has hosted this year to celebrate its ongoing commitment to Wuthering Waves. With anniversary celebrations in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Guangzhou, and Shanghai these events were warmly welcomed and enjoyed by all attendees, and continue to prove Wuthering Waves prominent global influence. Kuro Games is dedicated to high-quality production, a focus on continued improvements, and a dedicated relationship to their community.
