2P Games and Betobe Studio announce their meditative building title Qianli: The Vastscape Scroll, a game that transforms traditional Chinese ink-wash paintings into a living world, will have a demo in the Steam Next Fest (June 15-22). Craft serene landscapes of mountains, rivers, and ancient architecture in a stress-free creative retreat while enjoying a classical Chinese soundtrack. The game is now available to Wishlist on Steam.
The demo includes the first 7 levels of the Exploration Mode plus 4 Challenge levels. Completing them unlocks the Sandbox Creation Mode, offering a 3+ hour soothing and tranquil creation experience in total.
ABOUT THE GAME
Qianli: The Vastscape Scroll is a living canvas where intuition replaces complex mechanics. As players expand the world with hexagonal tiles, they encounter Aspects—mystical, personified beings that embody legendary landmarks and classical poetry. These spirits serve as guides through the history and folklore of the Far East.
The environment evolves organically based on your creative touch. A trail reaching the water’s edge may naturally settle into a wharf, while a path winding near a famed peak allows an ancient temple to emerge from the mist. Through free-form exploration, players unveil “Secret Realms” brought to life by animated wildlife and a tranquil soundtrack of classical Chinese music that harmonizes with every stroke of the landscape.
