Leading the auction are two iconic grail pieces from Steven Spielberg’s Jaws (1975), presented following the film’s landmark 50th anniversary last year. Headlining the selection is the screen-matched Harpoon Gun used by Quint (Robert Shaw) and Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss), accompanied by its original case from aboard the Orca. The piece carries an estimate of $250,000–$500,000. Also offered is Quint’s screen-matched Fenwick fishing rod with production-used reel. Featured during the film’s early shark encounter and handled by Quint, Hooper, and Brody, the rod is estimated at $75,000–$150,000. Together, these pieces stand as two of the most significant artifacts to ever surface from the movie and head to public auction.

The auction also features standout pieces from the Star Wars universe. Leading the curation is a Light-Up C-3PO head from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980), the only known example of Threepio’s head from the second film to appear on the collector market, with a pre-sale estimate of $350,000–$700,000. Also offered is Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) hero lightsaber hilt from Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), seen during Rey’s confrontation with Kylo Ren and later returned to Luke Skywalker on Ahch-To. This lot carries an estimate of $50,000–$100,000.

Two further highlights come from Ridley Scott’s Oscar-winning epic Gladiator (2000). Leading the pair is Maximus’ (Russell Crowe) arena helmet and mask, a standout piece originating from the personal collection of legendary Australian rugby union player David Campese, to whom it was gifted directly by Crowe. The helmet is estimated at $125,000–$250,000. Also offered is the helmet of Tigris of Gaul (Sven-Ole Thorsen), the feared and previously undefeated gladiator defeated by Maximus in one of the film’s most iconic battles. Originating directly from its designer, illustrator Sylvain Despretz, the helmet draws inspiration from the French comic series Astérix and Murena and carries a pre-sale estimate of $50,000–$100,000.

The three-day Live Auction runs from 25–27 March 2026, with global online, absentee, and telephone bidding available throughout the three days.

SSR Chisato Nishikigi: She is known as the “Strongest Lycoris Agent of All Time.” She enjoys solving problems faced by the private sector that DA cannot handle. She is the self-proclaimed “poster girl” at Café LycoReco, and is always cheerful and energetic.
SSR Takina Inoue: She was once an excellent Lycoris agent but was assigned to Café LycoReco due to special circumstances. She is rational, hates waste, and is sometimes frustrated by Chisato’s “un-Lycoris-like behavior,” but she has a strong desire to achieve results at work. She is known for her calm and collected fighting style.

The first ever official mashup TV commercial in the history of Final Fantasy – produced by the FFXV development team, “CUP NOODLE XV,” is being unveiled today. For this “collaborative TV commercial,” or rather, “mashup TV commercial,” the currently airing Final Fantasy XV commercial has been reprocessed scene by scene and converted into the Cup Noodles format – transforming the majestic and atmospheric world of Final Fantasy through brute force into the Cup Noodles universe.

This news has gained a great deal of attention, resulting in approximately 47,000 tweets following the discussion.

“7th Guest” redefined the gaming industry at the time. The title was the first PC game to release on CD format. A rich plot coupled with clever B movie type acting made it an instant cult classic. To answer the surge in popularity a sequel to “7th Guest” released two years later. The title to the sequel is called “11th Hour”. A third chapter to the franchise was aimed for production. Unfortunately, the project failed to come into fruition.

Fast forward to the present day. Darkstone Entertainment and Trilobyte have collaborated to resurrect “7th Guest” for modern audiences. The project is bound to introduce a sense of nostalgia. A ten episodic web series will debut next year. The Horror Mystery series will be directed by John Johnson. Actor Robert and “7th Guest” original composer George Sanger confirmed for the project. A teaser trailer to “7th Guest” web series was released.

Varys will be the twenty-third figure in the series and is slated for in-store release in April of 2016, just in time for the launch of season 6 of Game of Thrones.

A member of the Small Council, Varys is known as the Master of Whisperers. He has an army of “Little Birds” that keep him well informed of all matters pertaining to the realm. Dark Horse captures the slyness of Varys in the detailed plastic prepainted figure, which measures 8.25 inches in height and comes in collector window box display packaging.

“We have worked closely with HBO Global Licensing to ensure that all the aspects of costume detail and likeness are perfect,” Dark Horse Product Development head David Scroggy remarked, “and we are pleased with the result.”

The Varys collectible will join four additional Game of Thrones figures in spring 2016: Ygritte, Margaery Tyrell, Oberyn Martell, and Grey Worm.

Ygritte, quick witted with a temper as fiery as her hair, is a skilled archer living in the frozen wilderness north of the Wall. She is the tempestuous lover of Jon Snow and also his foe in battle.

Raised an aristocrat, the beautiful and cunning Margaery Tyrell is the widow of Renly Baratheon and was betrothed to Joffrey until his death. Later wed to Tommen Baratheon, she is imprisoned by the Faith Militant, a victim of Cersei’s schemes. Her fate is still pending as season 6 approaches.

Prince Oberyn Martell, also known as the Red Viper of Dorne, is a noteworthy character. His battle with Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane is one of the more exciting moments in the series.

Grey Worm has emerged from slavery to fight for Daenerys as a free man. Skilled at both battle and subterfuge, he is a sly warrior.

Response to the Game of Thrones collectible figure line has been overwhelming, and additional characters are in development for release in summer and fall 2016.

PlayStation Now first went live last year and that too on the PlayStation 4. Sony has not yet launched this service on the PlayStation 3 yet but is expected to do so later this year. The service is available on devices like the PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV and certain Blu-ray players and TVs from Sony.

Sony confirmed in December last year that it will bring PlayStation Now game streaming to Samsung smart TVs, and today it has finally followed through on that promise.

Samsung Smart TV owners can stream from the library which contains more than 100 PlayStation 3 titles, they can purchase Sony’s $19.99 per month PlayStation Now subscription for the purpose of streaming any of the available games whenever they want.
