Definitive edition of the popular Nihon Falcom action JRPG features revamped localization and all additional content

Aksys Games announced today that the cult hit action RPG Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is coming to Nintendo Switch on July 25th. In addition to the new scenarios and gameplay not included in the original PlayStation Vita version, this updated edition of Tokyo Xanadu includes all additional content for the game and a revamped localization of the story. A 4-CD set featuring all 88 songs from the Tokyo Xanadu eX+ soundtrack is available exclusively on the Aksys Online Store.

10 years ago, a colossal earthquake devastated Tokyo and changed the lives of its inhabitants forever. The city has since been rebuilt and life has slowly returned to a semblance of normalcy. However, behind the veil of this newly rebuilt metropolis lies another world, one with a sinister secret. The earthquake that originally destroyed Tokyo was actually caused by the emergence of a mysterious and lethal shadow world known as Eclipse. Now, action must be taken to thwart the legions of Eclipse and ensure the protection of peace!

Features of the Switch version of Tokyo Xanadu eX+ include:

New Scenarios! Enjoy unique tales of the wielders that weren’t depicted in the main story. Once you’ve completed the game, get access to an all-new quest and carry on the adventure!

New Playable Characters, New Monsters, Dungeons and Bosses! Play as the mysterious knight, White Shroud. Brandish unrivaled strength and the powers of light to take down vile monsters and vicious bosses! Plus, new dungeons filled with fierce new monster types and giant bosses to battle!

New Boss Battle Mode! Revisit battles with various bosses that appear in the main story. The time you spend on each battle is recorded; how fast can you defeat each boss? This mode also features Boss Rush, where you can battle bosses one after the other.

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ has been rated “T fo Teen” by the ESRB. For more information about the game or to pre-order, visit www.aksysgames.com/tokyo-xanadu-ex/.

Hello! I'm Natsumi Vélez, editor and part of videogames.com. I focus on finding the most exciting news. I have been a player for as long as I can remember, I know how to defend Pokémon names well, but generation 5 is my favorite of all besides Pokémon X Y and I always chose Snivy and Fennekin in those two games. He has only played one old game from my Zelda days, which is Spirit Tracks, it is my favorite but I still have to finish it, as a child it was somewhat difficult. I also enjoy anime from Candy Candy, Doraemon and Sailor Moon, the series before Sailor Moon Crystal, super fan of Sailor Pluto's transformation music, and I watch anime more from this era like Spy x Family, A Silent Confession, Apothecary Diaries, Osomatsu-San, Shield Hero, BNA (Brand New Animal known by the creator who also made Luluco San and Little Witch Academia as well as an episode of the Star Wars series “Visions”) Romance Killer, My Fiance (The One with Miss Miyo) the odd episode of Dragon Ball, Love Live, I think all the Ghibli movies except his son's except for one, My Hero Academia, Blue Period (my favorite) and more. I know how to draw, write and dance, I could soon make covers of the news I publish if there is an opportunity. New generation Gamer, with an eye for the latest news on video games and entertainment.
