Set in the distant future and inspired by classic adventure games like Zork, Shadowgate, and King’s Quest, Trackless is an atmospheric adventure that sets you on a journey to complete a series of trials to gain access to The Object, a mysterious monolith. The game utilizes a mix of first-person adventuring elements and a text input system that hearkens back to the classic period of adventure gaming, making for a wholly unique gameplay experience.

Trackless casts the player as a Seeker, someone who has decided to take a journey into the mountains to attempt a series of trials that, if completed, will lead them to a monolith called The Object. No one knows what The Object is or where it came from, but clues exist surrounding this intractable mystery. Players will meet many people on the journey (some who will help along the way, and others might obstruct the quest) as they learn about the game’s strange future that pulls inspiration from real world places.

12 East Games is headed by Aubrey Serr, whose experience includes working on Wolfire games like Overgrowth and Receiver before setting off to create his own original games. Trackless also features an original soundtrack composed by Makeup and Vanity Set, adding a layer of synthesized ambience to the game’s intriguing world.

“Knowing Aubrey’s work, Trackless is sure to be like nothing else out there,” Steve Gaynor of Fullbright, creators of Gone Home and Tacoma, said. “I can’t wait to explore its strange and alien world for myself.”

The Trackless campaign achieved 108% of its goal, hitting $21,790 last fall. Backers had the opportunity to support the campaign through both pledges and investments.

The closed beta application phase for Crazy Machines 3 begins today. With the support of the selected beta testers, the development team seeks to optimize the gameplay and community functions of the level editor which has been designed as a sandbox. Thereby Daedalic Entertainment and FAKT Software guarantee that by the time of its official release Crazy Machines 3 will be the most advanced puzzle and physics game of all times with its content constantly being extended by the community.

The application phase runs until April 10, 2016. Interested players can launch their application here and, with a little luck, soon become one of about 200 beta testers. The closed beta phase begins at the end of April.

Well, the starting point is that, the game is about a fish with memory problems, yes, like Dory from Finding Nemo. He has big muscles, so winning fights is not a problem, but acting fast, before the memory goes off is a must.

The game may resemble classic shooters like Parodius and Cho Aniki, but the action here is fast, you will shoot a little and then back to select and upgrade powerups, and then back to the action.

There are a lot of different enemies, gameplay is smooth, and the bosses are challenging. It looks great on the Wii U controller screen.

The game has local co-op mode, so it’s twice the fun if you invite someone around who was just watching you play.

The game is also available on PS4, PS Vita, PC and Mac, so there’s an option for almost everybody.

We liked the game a lot, it has that nonsense retro feeling some games have lost or try to have, without success. So, if you like shmups, go and buy it!

The season will feature Patton Oswalt as male Jesse, Catherine Taber as female Jesse, Brian Posehn as Axel, Ashley Johnson as Petra, Scott Porter as Lukas, Martha Plimpton as Olivia, Billy West as the narrator, and Paul Reubens as Ivor. Also announced today, in the role of the four ‘Order of the Stone’ members, Dave Fennoy as Gabriel the Warrior, Corey Feldman as Magnus the Griefer, Grey Griffin as Ellegaard the Redstone Engineer, and John Hodgman as Soren the Architect.

Episode 1: ‘The Order of the Stone,’ the first of five episodes in the season, will premiere digitally worldwide on Tuesday, October 13th this year. The episode will be available at launch on PC and Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, on the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One® and Xbox 360®. In addition to multiplayer, today’s major MINIDAYZ update also features drivable cars, which will help people get around the 1.8 km² map quicker. Some of the mechanics from MINIDAYZ’s singleplayer, however, such as crafting, have yet to be implemented into multiplayer, but fresh updates with moar features, and potentially even new multiplayer modes, are on the way.
